Thor Explorations, poured the first gold at its Segilola project in Nigeria on July 30. The processing plant, located in Osun State, will now ramp up over the next six weeks, with commercial production expected from September.
In commercial production, the plant will process a capacity of 715,000 tonnes / yr, to produce 85,000 oz / yr of gold (2.27 tonnes) over 5 years, at an all-in sustaining cost of $ 685 / oz.
