The African Development Bank (AfDB) has just granted a grant of 2.5 million dollars, or 1.3 billion CFA francs to facilitate access to electricity in 28 countries in Africa. Remember that more than 600 million inhabitants do not have access to electricity in Africa.
An initiative led by the Regional Association of Energy Regulators for Eastern and Southern Africa, and the Regional Association of Energy Regulators for Southern Africa.
