Nordgold begins mining a new deposit near the Guinea mine

Nordgold has officially started mining the new satellite deposit at Diguili, Guinea, located   35 km from the Lefa mine processing plant.

Nordgold bought 85% of the shares in the company that owns Lefa in 2010 and has been  exploring since then to breathe new life into the mine. The mining company estimates the gold reserves of the Diguili deposit at 138,000 ounces.
